Volvo Penta zinc anode ring Saildrive VO120S, SB, C protects the Saildrive models VO120S, 120SB, S120C against electrochemical corrosion. As a material for sacrificial anodes, zinc is particularly suitable for salt water and brackish water, while aluminium and magnesium are preferred for fresh water.
