Volvo Penta zinc anode ring Saildrive VO 110 S protects the Saildrive model 110 from electrochemical corrosion. As a material for sacrificial anodes, zinc is particularly suitable for salt water and brackish water, while aluminium and magnesium are preferred for fresh water.
