Ecobra, navigation hand plotter 38cm

The Ecobra Navigation Hand Plotter 38cm is a practical navigation ruler with integrated rotating compass rose. This course ruler replaces the classic navigation tool consisting of two triangles. The total error scale (1° graduation), which ranges from 40° east to 40° west, is practical and enables the compass course to be read on the central rotating disc, taking into account deviation and declination, and saves the need for written course markings. This plotter is perfect for working with official nautical charts, e.g. also for training and testing for the higher sailing licences SKS, SSS and SHSS. Further details:

• Dimensions: 380mm x 120 mm with Ø 11 cm 360° turntable
• Turntable with north arrow and vertical and horizontal lines at 5 mm intervals - for exact north alignment of the turntable on the chart
• Two plastic handles that ensure the disc can be turned easily even in cold weather with wet hands
• Scales on the long sides in inches/units and cm/mm for reading boat speeds and distances
• Conspicuous orange arrow "Course Bearing" for aligning the plotter on the chart in the direction of the course
• Three cut-outs with approx. 9 mm square, triangle and circle symbols as a drawing aid when entering on the chart
• Material: transparent Plexiglas 3 mm, with 8 studs on the underside to protect the chart
