The Lewmar halyard stopper DC1 single design protects the rope due to the unique geometry of the domino mechanism and can be opened under tension without tacking. The retraction lever of this lever clamp, in combination with the patented clamp mechanism, offers the possibility of controlled freeing - even at full holding load. Further features of this latch stopper:
- High load use for vessels up to 14 m (46ft), use for low loads and trim lines on larger vessels. For high loads we recommend the DC2 halyard stopper.
- Line diameter from 6mm to 12mm. Safe working load 300 - 500kg.
- Mounting points comply with industrial standards, so there is usually no need to drill new mounting holes when changing from other manufacturers. Exact dimensions can be sent on request.
- Reliable spare parts supply minimises follow-up costs.
