The Lewmar DC2 halyard stopper is gentle on the rope thanks to the unique geometry of the domino mechanism of this lever cleat and can be opened under tension without having to pinch. The retraction lever of this lever cleat offers the possibility of controlled release - even at full holding load. Further features of the halyard stopper:
