The Harken single fuel block 16mm has been specially developed for optimists. The forged swivelling hook of the block is simply hooked into the hole provided in the mast. Like all blocks in this series, the block has a relatively high working load with minimal friction. The special bearing system consists of stainless steel balls in a grooved track with cage.
