The Volvo Penta magnesium anode kit for Duo Prop 290 protects against electrochemical corrosion. The anode is easy to install and is fastened with stainless steel screws. As a material for sacrificial anodes, zinc is particularly suitable for salt water and brackish water, while aluminium and magnesium are preferred for fresh water.
