The official, legally binding wording of the Racing Rules of Sailing for the years 2017-2020, adopted by the World Sailing Association (WS), reproduced bilingually in this edition by the German Sailing Association (DSV), Austrian Sailing Association (ÖSV) and Swiss Sailing Association (Swiss Sailing): The English wording on the left-hand page of each book corresponds to the official German translation on the right-hand page. In cases of doubt, the original English version applies. The new racing rules come into force on 1 January 2017 and will apply for the next four years.
